Executives from the UK are not alone in their distaste for delays. Businesspeople from the USA, Germany, the Netherlands - and basically most of Northern Europe can all be a bit rigid in their need for precise schedules. Sometimes it pays to relax, and bring a good book with you.
Patience is, indeed, a virtue. One which we seem to forget all too often in the UK!
