Some Gestures Don't Translate well Across Cultures!

Even though it featured then-actor Ronald Reagan, 

this Ad for V-8 Juice did not play well in the UK. 

Reversing the "V" for Victory gesture is equivalent 

to the "Bird" in England.  Sales were a bit slow...

    Gestures that are acceptable in one culture can be potentially offensive in another, which is why entrepreneurs and businesses need to study local culture before expanding to offshore locations.
